Settings is where you shape Hive for yourself and for your whole workspace. Open it from the workspace menu (Workspace settings) or go to /settings. Settings replaces the sidebar with its own navigation, grouped into four sections.
Pages marked Admin only are hidden from, and unreachable by, anyone who is not an Owner or Admin. Other pages are visible to everyone; some are read-only unless you are an Owner or Admin.

Account

Personal settings that apply only to you.

Workspace

Settings that apply to everyone in the workspace.

User management

Products

Per-product settings. Most product pages include a Who can use this product? control:
  • Everyone in this workspace,
  • Selected members and groups, or
  • Nobody.
As the page itself notes, changing this does not grant organisation roles or access to private resources — it only decides who sees the product.

Settings worth reviewing first

When you set up a new workspace, an Owner or Admin should look at these early:
1

Governance

Confirm the autonomy levels and spend caps match your appetite for risk. Everything starts conservative.
2

Models

Restrict the model list if your organisation has approved only certain AI providers. An empty allow-list means no restriction.
3

Data sharing

Decide whether to help improve Hive with this workspace’s data. It stays off unless you turn it on.
4

Products and access

Limit Agents, Workflows or the Brain to the people who should use them during rollout.
5

Billing

Choose seats and plan layers before the trial ends. See Trial and payments.

Roles and permissions

Who can change what.

Safety and control

The Governance page in depth.

Data protection

Data sharing, retention and deletion.

Billing and plans

Seats, credits and layers.
