Every action below is prepared by Hive and waits for human approval. Money and
irreversible actions — refunds, voids, deletions — always ask a person, whatever your autonomy
settings.
Xero
Connect: OAuth. Hive’s invoice signals need theaccounting.transactions.read permission.
Hive reads: chart of accounts, profit and loss, balance sheet, bank summary, invoices,
contacts and bank transactions.
Actions with approval: create, update or archive a contact; create a draft invoice; email an
invoice; void an authorised invoice; delete a draft invoice.
Signals: Invoice collection. Hive tracks each authorised invoice’s amount remaining,
due date (in your Xero organisation’s time zone, when Hive has permission to read your organisation settings), contact and status, and raises a signal when collection needs
attention. When the signal is first turned on, it opens one case for each invoice currently
awaiting payment, so nothing already overdue is missed.
Stripe
Connect: the managed connector, or Stripe’s official MCP server (https://mcp.stripe.com, OAuth).
Hive reads: charges, invoices, customers, balance, payment intents, subscriptions and
payouts.
Actions with approval: issue a refund (always the highest-risk tier), create, update or
delete a customer, delete a draft invoice, void an invoice.
Signals:
- Automatic-collection invoices — invoices Stripe is charging automatically that need attention.
- Send-invoice overdue collection — emailed invoices past their due date.
- Disputes needing a response — card disputes with evidence due.
QuickBooks
Connect: OAuth. Hive reads: company info, customers, invoices, vendors and bills, and record detail. Actions with approval: create or update a customer, create an invoice, delete an invoice (permanent), deactivate a customer. Signals: no certified invoice-collection signal yet; Hive can build monitors on the Coverage tab.FreeAgent
Connect: OAuth. Hive reads: company details, bank accounts and balances, profit and loss, bank transactions, tax and VAT dates, invoices, bills, expenses, contacts, projects, timeslips and categories. Actions with approval: create and email an invoice; create a bill, expense or timeslip; create, update or delete a contact. Signals: none certified yet; ask about FreeAgent data in Ask Hive.Sage
Connect: OAuth. Sage 200 asks you to choose Sage 200 Standard Online or Sage 200 Professional / Extra Online; your site and company are found after sign-in. The signed-in user needs Sage 200 API access and Company Access. Hive reads: contacts, sales and purchase invoices, bank accounts. Actions with approval: create, update or delete a contact.NetSuite
Connect only. You can connect NetSuite, but Hive does not yet read from it or act in it.DocuSign
Connect: OAuth. Hive reads: templates, envelopes and recipients. Actions with approval: send an envelope from a template; void an envelope.Push events from proposal tools
Proposal and practice tools such as Ignition, Go Proposal or Figsflow often lack an API Hive can connect to. Point a Zapier or Make automation at an incoming webhook and sendproposal.created, proposal.won and client.created events — Hive turns them into
Brain facts and signals.
