Hive opens on Ask Hive, a chat that answers across your connected tools. Everything else is one click away in the sidebar, the workspace menu at the top, the account menu at the bottom, or the command palette.

The sidebar

The sidebar has two groups separated by a divider. Your work Hive Below the groups you’ll find your chat history: Projects (with New project) and your recent chats. At the very bottom are any custom links your workspace has added, then your user row.
Admins can switch off the optional products — Agent Studio, Workflows and the Business Brain — for the workspace, and items you do not have permission to use are hidden. If you cannot see something described here, ask a workspace admin.

The top of the sidebar

  • Workspace name — opens the workspace menu.
  • Bell — your notifications. Mark them read one at a time or all at once, and open the item or run a notification points to, when it has one.
  • Search — opens the command palette (⌘ K on Mac, Ctrl K on Windows and Linux).
  • Collapse — hides the sidebar for more room.

Select the workspace name to open:
  • Invite users — goes to members, where owners and admins invite people.
  • Workspace settings
  • Analytics
  • Billing
  • Members
  • Learn more — opens this documentation.
  • Switch workspace — move between workspaces you belong to, or create a New workspace.
Personal settings live in Workspace settings too, under Account.

The account menu

Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Members & roles, Plan & usage, Security & data, Invite your team and Sign out. Links to team and billing only show to roles allowed to use them.

Settings

Settings replaces the sidebar with its own navigation, grouped into four sections. Items marked ★ are for owners and admins only.
Profile, Preferences, Custom Instructions, Memory (personal memory), Notifications, Security (active sessions and sign-out per device), Shared projects, Usage and Get Started (your onboarding checklist).

The command palette

Press ⌘ K (or Ctrl K) anywhere to search recent chats, agents, workflows and pages. Results are grouped into Chats, Agent Studio, Workflows and Go to.

Banners you may see

  • Kill switch is on — every autonomous action and approval is halted. Owners and admins can choose Resume autonomy. See Safety and control.
  • Your trial has ended — your data is safe; subscribe to restore access. See Trial and payments.

Pages you reach from elsewhere

Some pages are not in the sidebar but are linked from Settings or other screens:
  • Policy & autonomy — Settings → Products → Governance.
  • Team & access and Plan & usage — from the workspace and account menus.
  • Audit log — every action’s receipt. See Audit log.
